The Apple MacBook Pro “M1” 8-Core 13-Inch (2020) model features a 5-nm 3.2 GHz Apple M1 processor with 8 cores (4 performance cores and 4 efficiency cores), an 8-core GPU, a 16-core Neural Engine, 8 GB of onboard RAM, and 256 GB onboard SSD.

It’s the most exciting laptop Apple has released in years – mainly because of the new M1 processor. It can not only perform more tasks, but it can do so more quickly.

Apple has ditched Intel for two reasons. One is to maintain greater control over its own product, and the other is that the M1 chip is a quantum leap in terms of performance.

Offered in “Space Gray” color, this notebook has an integrated 720p FaceTime HD webcam, stereo speakers with a “high dynamic range,” a scissor-switch “Magic Keyboard” with a customized “Touch Bar” with a separate esc key and a separate “Touch ID” sensor, and a gigantic “Force Touch” trackpad.

Additionally, it has a high-resolution LED-backlit 13.3″ widescreen 2560×1600 “Retina” display with True Tone technology, and an integrated battery that provides an Apple estimated 17-20 hours of runtime.

Connectivity includes 802.11ax Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5, two Thunderbolt 3/USB 4 ports (USB-C connector), and a 3.5 mm headphone jack.

Compared to its predecessor the “2020, M1” MacBook Pro model looks nearly identical, but in virtue of the new M1 miracle chip, it has a completely different internal architecture.
