Terms and conditions

1. Information on how to enter forms part of the terms and conditions of entry for this promotion. Entry into the promotion is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions.
2. The Promoter is Cool Stuf, Gabaka Street, Gordons, Port Moresby
3. The promotion commences Saturday 1 August 2020 and closes at 11:59pm on Sunday 23 August 2020 (“The Promotion Period”).
4. The finals series runs from Thursday 27 August 2020 to Sunday 30 August 2020 12 midnight.
5. Entry is open to anyone via the Cool Stuf Facebook page who submits via Facebook message to Cool Stuf a “selfie” featuring either themselves and/or a friend, spouse, or other family member and/or friend. Eligible Entrants may enter more than once and should include their name and contact number with each entry.
6. Directors, management, employees and officers of the Promoter are ineligible to enter this promotion.
7. Six winners will be chosen each week by the promoter. Prizes as per the prize schedule published above.
8. Entries of prize-winners may be displayed on the Cool Stuf Facebook page.
9. Winners will be contacted and notified either by Facebook message and/or by phone and then announced via the Cool Stuf Facebook page.
10. Finalists will be those selfies that accrue the most “likes” during the course of the promotion in the finals series.
11. All Prize Winners will, at all times, indemnify, keep indemnified, hold harmless and release Cool Stuf to the full extent permitted by law from and against any and all claims, causes of action, losses, damage, liability, cost or expense (including legal expenses on a full indemnity basis), incurred by Cool Stuf as a result of or in connection with the Promotion and from all liability which may arise in respect of any accident, damage or injury occurring to any person or property in connection with the Prize and/or the Prize Winner.
12. It is each prize winner’s responsibility to collect their prize from their nearest Cool Stuf outlet in POM, Lae or Madang, or Cool Stuf will deliver to other centres in PNG free of charge.
13. Prizes cannot be exchanged for other goods and services or redeemed for cash.
14. The promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
15. The Promoter needs to collect the personal information of entrants so that the entrant can be entered into the Promotion. Without providing the Promoter with that information, the Promoter cannot enter the person in the Promotion.
16. Entry details become the property of the Promoter.
17. Eligible Entrants consent to the Promoter using their image, names, and entry details for promotional and/or marketing purposes. The Prize Winner will agree to participate in reasonable promotional activities as requested by the Promoter, unless otherwise notified to the contrary at the time of acceptance of the Prize.
18. If for any reason this competition is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupt or affect the administration security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this competition, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition. This includes but is not limited to automated services that may generate “likes” on Facebook.
19. The Promoter assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to, or alteration of, entries.
20. The Promoter is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any email or entry to be received by the Promoter on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any Website, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to participant’s or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from participation or downloading any materials in this competition.

Samsung A11 and A21s are now at Cool Stuf and ideally positioned with heaps of features at an affordable price tag for the PNG market.

Both are mid-price range phones, with some similarities and a few differences.

The A11 comes in 2GB and 3GB of RAM, with 32GB of storage whereas the A21s has 4GB of RAM and jumps up to 64GB of internal storage space.

The other big difference is the camera.

The A11 has a tri-camera module on the rear led by a 13-megapixel wide-angle camera, with ultra-wide angle and depth; whereas the A21s has four cameras on the rear with a 48-megapixel main sensor – with a handy macro lens added to upgrade it to a quad-camera array. A21s selfie camera is 13MP.

Price jumps accordingly K599 for the A11 2GB and K649 for the A11 3GB.

The A21s comes with a higher price tag at K990 – justified by the bigger storage, a 5,000 mAh battery and better camera.

Both phones have octa-core processors. The A11 has a 6.4 inch HD+ display; whereas the A21s is a little bigger with a 6.5 inch screen.

JOB DESCRIPTION: Accounts Executive (POM)

1. Reports directly to the Head of Office (HOD), Accounts Dept.
2. Checks, reconciles, enters, scans the Daily Sales Summary (DSS) Reports of all Cool Stuf Retail stores and Head Office Corporate Sales before submission to the Management.
3. Updates and posts the Journal Vouchers entries in MYOB as to Cash, Cheques, Eftpos, Shortage, Overage.
4. Updates the Excel report of Cheques for Clearing, Online and Direct deposits made by customers.
5. Handles Accounts receivables as to regular phone calls and emails Statement of Account (SOA) to Customers with overdue accounts.
6. Submits the weekly Accounts Receivables (AR) & Accounts Payables (AP) Ageing reports to the Management.
7. Handles monthly Fuel Consumptions and Petty Cash replenishment reports.
8. Reconciles the monthly Bank statements both BSP and Kina Banks.
9. Analyzes, submits the monthly Balance sheet reconciliations and Operating expenses of each Retail store.
10. Does update filing both hard and soft copies of Sales invoices and other documents.
11. Other tasks that may be assigned from time to time.

JOB DESCRIPTION: Inventory Assistant (POM)

1. Reports directly to the Inventory Manager.
2. Enter in MYOB the Daily sales report of Retail stores.
3. Confirm the sales with the MYOB against the daily count sheet to verify stocks are balance.
4. Extract the daily count sheet from MYOB to excel, email to respective Store.
5. Analyze the Order of Retail store with the Stock on Hand.
6. Once approved by Inventory Manager, collect stocks, raise the Sales Invoice, pack for dispatch.
7. Liaise with the Retail supervisors on issues regarding the assigned shops,
8. Call the Supervisor/Team Leader of each retail store regarding stock shortage charge to the Team.
9. Does surprise store visit to conduct on the spot stock count.
10. Assist corporate sales team for stock needs like transfer from one store to HO.
11. Keeps record of all faulty items of retail shops, forward to Service Dept for checking.
12. Does general filing of invoices and other relevant documents for record purposes.
13. Does stock take in the warehouse when advise by the Inventory Manager.
14. Steps in to assist when another inventory member is sick or etc.
15. Submits daily, weekly report to the Inventory Manager.
16. Assist to unpack huge incoming shipment for storage in the warehouse.
17. Does reconcile Ticket Masta.
18. Other tasking that may be assigned from time to time.

JOB DESCRIPTION: Retail Store Cashier/Sales Representative (LAE)

1. Reports directly to Team Leader.
2. Wears proper uniform and well groomed.
3. Greets Customers.
4. Provides Quote for the Customers.
5. Scans the products sold, checks barcode same in the system.
6. Completes, processes the sales thru Cash or Debit/Credit cards payment.
7. Counts money back to Customer in an accurate and concise manner.
8. Assists customer, if needed.
9. Responsible for the float money.
10. Balances at the end of the day as to Cash, Eftpos, Cheque, Online payment.
11. Fills up and signs the Daily Sales summary for submission to Head Office.
12. Turnover the Cash sales to the Team leader or Store Manager.
13. Advises Customers on the right products needed.
14. Works hand in hand with the Team to achieve the monthly sales target.
15. Attends Training such as Product knowledge to achieve confidence in selling.
16. Displays and replenishes stocks.
