 TERMS & CONDITIONS

A. GENERAL

  1. Information on how to enter forms part of the terms and conditions of entry for this promotion. Entry into the promotion is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions.
  2. The Promoter is Cool Stuf, Gabaka Street, Gordons, Port Moresby
  3. The promotion commences 12 midnight on Thursday 12 March 2020 and closes at 11:59pm on Tuesday 31 March 2020 (“The Promotion Period”). IMPORTANT NOTICE: Due to the unforeseen COVID 19 lockdown in Papua New Guinea this promotion has been suspended until further notice. This will affect the closing date of the promotion.
  4. Entry is open to anyone via the Cool Stuf Facebook page who is also a member of the Destinations Loyalty Program (“DLP Member”).
  5. The promotion involves the purchase of products featured during the Promotion Period (Featured Product/s) using either cash or Destinations Loyalty Program points (“Points”)
  6. All purchases are subject to Coolstuf’s return/replacement policy.

B. USING CASH TO PURCHASE FEATURED PRODUCTS

  1. The DLP Member can purchase Featured Products using cash at any Coolstuf shop in PNG, subject to availability.
  2. When using cash the DLP Member will earn the same amount of Destinations Points. For example if the Featured Product is K1,000 then the DLP Member will earn 1,000 points.
  3. DLP Member must present their Destinations card at the time of purchase.
  4. Coolstuf sales team member will scan the card and the receipt to ensure the DLP Member is credited with points.
  5. Points will be uploaded to the DLP Member’s account after the close of The Promotion Period (ie after the end of the month).

C. USING POINTS TO PURCHASE FEATURED PRODUCTS

  1. The DLP Member can purchase Featured Products using Points at any Coolstuf shop in PNG, subject to availability.
  2. When using Points the DLP Member must use Facebook in-box to advise Coolstuf of the DLP member name, DLP membership number, and contact number and/or email address AND the requested Featured Product.
  3. The DLP Member will then be contacted by a team member from Destinations Loyalty Program to advise that they have the required amount of points to purchase the product and if so, issued with a Voucher to be redeemed at their preferred Coolstuf shop.
  4. The DLP Member will typically have 1 month to utilise the Voucher and this will be clearly stated on the voucher.

C. THE PRIZE

  1. All purchases made in accordance with the promotion qualify for the prize of a return trip with Air Niugini to and from any one destination within Papua New Guinea (the Prize).
  2. The draw will be conducted following the conclusion of the promotion, at the offices of Coolstuf on April 3, 2020. IMPORTANT NOTICE: Due to the unforeseen COVID 19 lockdown in Papua New Guinea this promotion has been suspended until further notice. This will affect the draw date of the promotion.
  3. The Prize must be used by the winner during April 2020.  IMPORTANT NOTICE: Due to the unforeseen COVID 19 lockdown in Papua New Guinea this promotion has been suspended until further notice. This will affect the use-by date of the prize.
  4. The Prize is not transferable, unless within the DLP Member’s family membership group, and cannot be exchanged for other goods and services or redeemed for cash.
  5. The winner consents to the Promoter using their image, names, and entry details for promotional and/or marketing purposes. The Prize Winner will agree to participate in reasonable promotional activities as requested by the Promoter, unless otherwise notified to the contrary at the time of acceptance of the Prize.
  6. If for any reason this competition is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupt or affect the administration security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this competition, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition.
  7. The Promoter assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to, or alteration of, entries.
  8. The Promoter is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any email or entry to be received by the Promoter on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any Website, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to participant’s or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from participation or downloading any materials in this competition.
  9. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEBSITE OR THE INFORMATION ON A WEBSITE, OR TO OTHERWISE UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THIS PROMOTION, MAY BE A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, WHETHER SUCCESSFUL OR NOT, THE PROMOTER RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

JOB DESCRIPTION: Human Resources Manager

  1. Final check of timesheet computation before handing to Accounts for payment.
  2. Advise HOD’s of staff probationary period and confirm for permanency once approved by Management.
  3. Oversee applications for recruitment & on-boarding.
  4. Prepare Job Offer Letter.
  5. Prepare licenses renewal (NICTA/NCDC/MADANG URBAN/LAE).
  6. Renew Insurance Policies.
  7. Prepare staff appraisals:
  1. Oversee staff issues, and enforcing the Companies Rules & Regulations.
  2. Attend to Nasfund & NCSL Matters
  1. Staff Disciplinary Actions (Counseling, Issuance of; warning notice, termination notice, probation end notice) & recording disciplinary notices issued.
  2. Issue internal memo’s for any new procedures within the organization.
  3. Submit the Employment Survey Form to BPNG (monthly, quarterly).
  4. Prepare the statement of earnings (year end) for submission to IRC.
  5. Schedule and organize in-house training as approved by Management.
  6. Plan and organize staff work roster for Retail.
  7. Any other matters concerning the department.

JOB DESCRIPTION: Inventory Manager

  1. Reports directly to General Manager.
  2. Responsible for checking the Daily sales report of all Retail shops before sending daily count sheets.
  3. Responsible for counter check Sales Invoice raise under SOLA PAYGO.
  4. Oversee the daily work of Inventory staff.
  5. Liaise with Store’s Manager, Supervisor and Team Leader regarding stock order, replenishment, stock shortage etc
  6. Coordinate with Purchasing Dept for shortage of stocks.
  7. Assist Corporate Sales Team with the stocks request from warehouse and other retail shops.
  8. Does the final confirmation of the shops order before dispatch.
  9. Emails an updated Stock Master to the shops if there’s any price change or new stocks.
  10. Does exchange of Faulty items once confirmed by the Service Department.
  11. Confirms Inventory adjustments for approval of Accounts Department before entering into the MYOB.
  12. Conducts monthly stock take in the Warehouse and Retail shops.
  13. Submits weekly Accomplishment Report to GM.
  14. Attends weekly HOD meeting.
  15. Other tasks that may be assigned from time to time by GM.

JOB DESCRIPTION: Inventory Assistant

  1. Reports directly to the Inventory Manager.
  2. Enter in MYOB the Daily sales report of Retail stores.
  3. Confirm the sales with the MYOB against the daily count sheet to verify stocks are balance.
  4. Extract the daily count sheet from MYOB to excel, email to respective Store.
  5. Analyze the Order of Retail store with the Stock on Hand.
  6. Once approved by Inventory Manager, collect stocks, raise the Sales Invoice, pack for dispatch.
  7. Liaise with the Retail supervisors on issues regarding the assigned shops,
  8. Call the Supervisor/Team Leader of each retail store regarding stock shortage charge to the Team.
  9. Does surprise store visit to conduct on the spot stock count.
  10. Assist corporate sales team for stock needs like transfer from one store to HO.
  11. Keeps record of all faulty items of retail shops, forward to Service Dept for checking.
  12. Does general filing of invoices and other relevant documents for record purposes.
  13. Does stock take in the warehouse when advise by the Inventory Manager.
  14. Steps in to assist when another inventory member is sick or etc.
  15. Submits daily, weekly report to the Inventory Manager.
  16. Assist to unpack huge incoming shipment for storage in the warehouse.
  17. Does reconcile Ticket Masta.
  18. Other tasking that may be assigned from time to time.

JOB DESCRIPTION: Purchasing Assistant

  1. Reports directly to Team Leader.
  2. Prepares Purchase Order for Local suppliers for signature of GM and Accountant.
  3. Once PO is approved, email to supplier, follow up immediate delivery at Head Office.
  4. Checks on Newspaper ads for competitor’s pricing and advise the Team Leader.
  5. Calls DHL for outbound shipment.
  6. Receives and checks delivery of stocks as against the Invoice.
  7. For DHL incoming shipment, responsible to unpack, check accuracy of total stocks against the Invoice, before storing them in the Warehouse. Any stock shortage will be reported immediately to the Team Leader.
  8. Analyze Stock on Hand for fast moving items, submits to Team Leader before raising Purchase Order.
  9. Liaise with Area Manager of suppliers, if there’s any issue concerning stocks.
  10. Responsible for sending faulty items to Local suppliers for exchange or credit note.
  11. Prepares weekly report to the Team Leader.
  12. Other task that may be assigned from time to time by the Team Leader.

JOB DESCRIPTION: Retail Store Sales Assistant

  1. Reports directly to Team Leader.
  2. Attends the early morning briefing at Head Office.
  3. Wears proper uniform and well groomed.
  4. Smiles and welcomes customer, offer them assistance.
  5. Serves customer by helping them select the right product.
  6. Directs customers by escorting them to racks and counters and show latest products.
  7. Advise customers giving the right information on the product/s they intend to buy.
  8. Display replenished stocks.
  9. Clean and dust designated area.
  10. Attends Product knowledge to be confident on each product.
  11. Works hand in hand with the Team to achieve the store’s monthly Sales target.
  12. Other tasks that may be assigned from time to time by the Team Leader.
